$100M condominium development on Moodyville Park breaks ground

Construction on a $100-million condominium development in North Vancouver is officially underway.

Green on Queensbury is made up of three, four-storey buildings with a total of 164 units, including apartment condos, garden homes and two-level townhomes ranging in size from 517 to 1,546 sq ft. The project is already 80 per cent sold.

The development is located adjacent to Moodyville Park, which is on a hillside between Low Level Road and East 3rd Street.

It’s the first large-scale, parkside development in North Vancouver, and Qualex-Landmark is contributing approximately $3 million towards the revitalization of Moodyville Park.

Moodyville Park commemorates the very spot where North Vancouver’s first European settlers worked and lived, and where a large sawmill was once located.

“This is a milestone moment for Moodyville,” says City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto. “Green on Queensbury is one of the first new developments that will reshape the community by increasing housing supply and revitalizing Moodyville Park.”

The project is being developed by Qualex-Landmark, and is targeting a LEED Gold standard (Multi-family mid-rise green building category).

The building was designed by GBL Architects, with landscape architecture by PFS Studio. Marcon is the builder and interiors were designed by Cristina Oberti Interior Design.
