Construction of a mixed-use hotel, office and retail complex in Richmond, the International Trade Centre, is progressing quickly.
Builders Scott Construction recently topped off the office portion of the development, which was designed by GBL Architects for MYIE Homes.

Construction on the hotel tower has not yet begun, but will include a 14-storey OPUS by YOO Collection hotel with 110 rooms, scheduled to open in early 2019.
OPUS Hotel Corporation recently announced a partnership with U.K.-based YOO Hotels to expand the brand across Canada and Mexico, under a new banner called OPUS by YOO Collection and OPUS by yoo2.
The hotel at the International Trade Centre will be the partnership’s first opening under the new banner. The existing OPUS Hotel in Yaletown will not be part of the new partnership.
The office portion of the development contains 110 strata office units, ranging from 374–2,931 sq ft., and retail is planned for the podium levels.
The podium roof will provide a shared outdoor amenity area for all three towers, and a designated amenity area for the hotel tower, including a swimming pool.
The development also includes the “China Club”, a three-level club including private karaoke bar, concierge service, main reception lobby, wine bar, restaurant with display kitchen, wok kitchen, and piano bar with private stairs that leads to the banquet halls, meeting rooms, and library lobby.
