New park planned for Yaletown at Smithe and Richards

The lot is across from the Dolce and Vita developments on the corner of Smithe and Richards, and has been in the works for several years. The site is currently a parking lot, but part of it was previously occupied by the restaurant Lucy Mae Brown, which later became a temporary homeless shelter.
