News on office projects and industrial space in Metro Vancouver, including new office buildings in the downtown core, Railtown and Mount Pleasant, increasingly known as Mount Pixel. Downtown Vancouver is experiencing an office construction renaissance, with several new towers under construction including Vancouver Centre II, and Westbank's unique green "lantern" tower across from the Vancouver Public Library. Bosa Development is also building a new office tower on the former site of a parking garage at Cordova and Granville. Outside of the Central Business District, Railtown is an increasingly popular location for new office space, with projects like BENCH Railtown and The Maker Exchange. In Mount Pleasant a.k.a. Mount Pixel, home to technology firms like Hootsuite, space in new, Class A office developments is reportedly selling for over $10 million per floor.
