UNIQLO opening stores at Guildford and Richmond Centre this spring

Japanese fast fashion retailer UNIQLO has announced it’s opening two new Metro Vancouver stores this spring, in Surrey and Richmond.

UNIQLO will open a 12,800 sq ft. store at Guildford Town Centre on Friday, March 9, 2018. The store will be located on the second floor.

Later this spring, UNIQLO will open at Richmond Centre in an 8,000 sq ft. store on the main level.

“The launch of two additional UNIQLO stores in British Columbia is very exciting for us,” said Yasuhiro Hayashi, chief operating officer, UNIQLO Canada. “We opened our first store in the Greater Vancouver Area last fall and we received great demand from customers for more stores. This newest expansion demonstrates our commitment to bring LifeWear to more Canadians on the west coast.”

UNIQLO currently has three stores in Canada including: CF Toronto Eaton Centre, Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Metropolis at Metrotown. The retailer has over 1,900 stores worldwide.
