The skylines of Downtown South and Yaletown are transforming rapidly, with several apartment and condo highrise towers nearing completion and more on the way.
Nearly all of the projects were made possible through zoning changes that allowed for taller buildings and additional density.
Three major new residential towers are nearing completion as of summer 2017:
-
The Charleson
-
Peter Wall Mansion and Residences – YaletownÂ
-
Tate on HoweÂ
Vancouver House by Westbank (market condos and rental apartments) at Pacific and Howe is about one-third complete as of July 2017 and its twisting form will have the most dramatic impact on the skyline.
