Gateway project in North Surrey moves forward

An “iconic gateway project” for North Surrey has received positive reviews from the city’s Design Advisory Panel.

The upcoming development, at 13317 and 13335 King George Blvd. and 13377 Barker Street, will consist of three towers (24, 24, 22 storeys) and two low-rise buildings, designed by Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership.

There will be approximately 929 residential units, including 42 townhouses and 887 apartments.

In total, 1,608 residential and visitor parking spaces are proposed – which exceeds the zoning by-law requirement for Surrey City Centre.

The development is also located within 550 metres/1,800 ft. of the Gateway SkyTrain Station.
