Affordable rental homes proposed across from Renfrew SkyTrain station

A six-storey rental apartment and commercial building is proposed for Grandview Highway, half a block from the Renfrew SkyTrain station.

Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership designed the project which will include 57 rental units, 20 per cent of which will be earmarked for moderate income households as part of a City of Vancouver initiative. Units will range from studios to two/three bedrooms.

There will also be 7,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. Four townhomes will front onto the laneway, over one level of underground parking.

The site is currently home to a one-storey office building. There could soon be another new development next to the project as the neighbouring property at the corner of Grandview and Kaslo was recently listed for sale.
