A six-storey building with 46 units is planned for a land assembly on Joyce Street, next to the Joyce Rectifier Station, a boxy electrical substation.
Wilson Chang Architect Inc. designed the proposal for Westbury Properties, which will be clad in brick, cedar siding and fibre cement panels.
The development will have 46 underground parking stalls.
Under the site’s existing RM-10N zoning, the application is “conditional”, so it may be permitted; however, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
