Condos, office and retail to replace Starbucks at Oak and West 67th

An eight-storey building will soon replace a strip mall at Oak Street and West 67th Avenue.

The design, by GBL Architects, includes 62 strata condominiums, 6,000 sq ft. of ground floor retail and office space on the second floor. Along the laneway, there are two townhouses setback to allow for landscaped front yards.

The residential floors consist of a mix of one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom units, with every unit having its own outdoor space.

There will be 69 parking spaces and 124 bicycle parking stalls.

The proposal is consistent with the Marpole Community Plan. The strip mall is currently home to a popular Starbucks coffeeshop and was recently listed for sale for $22,000,000.

The developer is Jili Properties Ltd. Partnership.
