There will be 47 new secured market rental apartments coming to Commercial Drive, in an upcoming development by Headwater Living.
The four-storey building, designed by Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership, will be located at the corner of East 13th Avenue and Commercial Drive, adjacent to the SkyTrain guideway.

The property is currently occupied by a Firestone auto service centre. The new building will have ground floor retail space.
The residential floors will be clad in a regular grid of fibrous cement panels. Texture and colour is used to break up the massing and add visual interest to the building.
As the SkyTrain runs behind the site, special attention has been paid to the acoustics, particularly on the rear of the building. The building envelope has been beefed up, and there will also be landscaping and screening for enhanced sound attenuation.
