Vacant triangular lot at Kingsway & Rupert to see rentals

A six-storey, secured market rental building, designed by Formosis Architecture, is slated for a vacant lot at Rupert and Kingsway.

The site, a triangular lot, was formerly a gas station, but has been vacant for several years.

The new building will contain 127 units with ground floor retail space, and 99 underground parking stalls. 36% of the units will be two-bedroom or larger.

Amenities for residents will include a rooftop patio with BBQ, fire pit, children’s playground, dog run and planter boxes for growing fruits and veggies. There will also be an indoor amenity room.

The development is being constructed by Kerkhoff Construction of Chilliwack — also behind One Water Street in Kelowna.
