Locarno Legacy Corp. is planning a six-storey rental apartment building at Main Street and East 24th Avenue in Vancouver, designed by Yamamoto Architecture.
The new building will contain 60 secured market rental units, and ground floor retail. There will be 53 underground parking stalls and 128 bicycle parking spaces. A total of 42 per cent of the units are considered suitable for families — two or three bedrooms.

One of the four ground-floor retail units is specifically designed for a restaurant. Façade materials will include light grey brick, cementitious panels, wood-look soffits and charcoal-coloured metal window frames and canopy framing. Retail doors will be wood with a glass insert.
The development site consists of two properties which will be consolidated.
