Beedie & BPP team up on Wildwood, Hawksley

British Pacific Properties is joining forces with Beedie Living to develop two projects in the Uplands neighbourhood of West Vancouver, Wildwood and Hawksley. The development is part of the Rodgers Creek Area Development Plan.

The two projects will be located close to Cypress Village, a new high-density neighbourhood off Cypress Bowl Road that will include 3,700 homes once complete, as well as new community amenities and retail services. It will also bring transit service to the area for the first time.

The first of the two developments Beedie Living and British Pacific Properties will be collaborating on is Hawksley, a 72-unit condominium building with units ranging from 650 to 1,800 square feet.

The second development is Wildwood, a series of 16 detached and semi- detached homes ranging in size from 2,000 to 2,900 square feet with two to three bedrooms. A grouping of 10 single-family homes will also be developed as part of the partnership.

“BPP has spent years planning a sustainable, master-planned community and our collaboration with Beedie will enable us to accelerate our timeline in Uplands,” said Geoff Croll, president of British Pacific Properties.

“We are incredibly pleased to be working with British Pacific Properties in creating two legacy projects in Uplands. For us, it is important to be part of developing a diversity of homes that will create new ownership opportunities in West Vancouver.” said Ryan Beedie, president, Beedie Living.

British Pacific Properties has been active in West Vancouver since it was established in 1931, and was involved in the construction of the Lions Gate Bridge – which opened the North Shore to development and was led by the Guinness family – and building Park Royal, Canada’s first covered shopping centre.
