urbanYVR has confirmed that the shuttered Trump International Hotel on West Georgia will be rebranded as a Paradox Hotel.
Crews have begun to remove the controversial signage on the building’s exterior. The Trump name was removed from the residential portion of the building last year, with the ‘Trump Residences’ renamed to ‘1151 West Georgia’ at the request of the strata.
There isn’t a ton of information about the new Paradox Hotel brand online, apart from the company’s LinkedIn page, which states that it was founded in Vancouver in 2019, and currently operates the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel in Whistler.

There was speculation the Four Seasons brand would move to the former Trump Tower after its hotel at CF Pacific Centre closed for renovations, however, with the former Trump Tower now confirmed to be rebranded as Paradox Hotel, a new, built-to-suit Four Seasons Hotel property is looking very likely.
Holborn, through its TA Hotel Management subsidiary, operated the Trump International Hotel, but closed it in August 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19 on the hotel industry.
