Millennium Group is proposing an 18-storey tower with medical offices in the podium for East 13th Street near Lonsdale in North Vancouver.
The site, currently home to the Northmount medical office building, is across the street from the recently-completed CentreView development by Onni, which contains a Whole Foods Market set to open April 26.
The development will contain 162 units, with close to 80 per cent being two bedroom or larger. Townhouses will line the laneway, with private patios and planter boxes to improve privacy.
30,000 square feet of medical office space is planned for the podium, as well as ground floor retail.
A pedestrian pathway will run through the centre of the site, connecting East 13th to the laneway. A 60 ft. wide plaza will front 13th Street.
Amenities for residents will include a fitness centre, outdoor pool and hot tub, and children’s play area.
