A six-storey condo building is proposed for the southeast corner of Cambie Street and King Edward, across from the Canada Line station, and on the site of an alleged haunted house.
The new building will include 65 condo units over 68 underground parking stalls.
A variety of unit sizes will be offered, from studios to three-bedroom units.
Units on the top floor will have rooftop patios and an amenity room on the first floor will open out to a landscaped courtyard with children’s play area, seating, tables and a barbecue.
Interestingly, the development will replace a large single-family home on the corner, long rumoured to be haunted.
The home has become somewhat of an urban legend, with several online articles and reddit threads speculating on the home’s past.
There’s even a video about the home, calling it “The Most Haunted House in Vancouver.”
