New office space coming to Adanac and Clark Drive

A new, five-storey office and light industrial building planned for the corner of Adanac and Clark Drive in East Vancouver will add 55,000 square feet to the marketplace.

Alliance Partners is developing the new strata building, which features a modern, industrial design. Owners will enjoy a 5,000 square feet patio area, as well as two-levels of underground parking, bicycle parking and end-of-trip facilities.

Gordon Yeh of Alliance Partners says the project will revitalize the Clark Drive corridor.

“The area should see a transformation from its current state as car shops and truck parking to cleaner, more modern work spaces with vibrant retail such as coffee shops, breweries and restaurants to service the increasing population.”

Kevin Kassautzki, vice-president at Avison Young, sees an up-and-coming neighbourhood beginning to emerge.

“I think this area is well on its way to becoming the next Mount Pleasant. It will be a mix of multi-level industrial/office buildings, mixed in with great amenities (i.e. breweries, restaurants, shops, etc.) and surrounded by new residential development. This new residential development is already underway along East Hastings.”
