Metro Vancouver isn’t the only area in B.C. where the skyline is constantly changing — increasingly, developers are building high rises in other centres across the province, including Kelowna.
Bertram at Bernard Block is an upcoming 34-storey residential tower, which will be one of the tallest buildings in the city once complete. Another residential development currently under construction — One Water Street — includes a 36-storey tower, and the upcoming Westcorp Hotel will be 33 storeys.
Bertram, developed by Mission Group, will include 257 units including studios, one and two bedrooms.
It’s the second residential building at Bernard Block, which the developer hopes will add to the community’s vibrancy and drive foot traffic to shops and services along Bernard Avenue.
Amenities will include a rooftop pool, hot tub, community garden, outdoor sports area, indoor fitness centre and a shared workspace on the main floor.
The development is currently in the registration stage, with pre-sale prices beginning from the $200s.
