10-storey building proposed for West Broadway and Spruce

A 10-storey building is proposed for the corner of West Broadway and Spruce Street, at the former location of The Umbrella Shop.

The development will have ground-floor retail space, with office space above and eight levels of residential units on top.

The tower design is slim, with large balconies on the north and south sides. The base is clad in a dark brick, and the tower in fibre cement panels that have a matte, stone-like finish. There are copper accent panels on the side of the tower, alongside balconies and at the base.

  • two three-bedroom units

An indoor and outdoor amenity space for residents and office users is located on level three, oriented to the south for good sun exposure.

Two levels of underground parking are provided, with bike and other storage facilities.

The architect is GBL Architects and the developer is Minglian Holdings Ltd.
