Qualex-Landmark is planning a 31-storey high-rise and five-storey, non-market rental apartment building at Grange Street and Halley Avenue in Burnaby.
The tower will include 247 strata units, and the low-rise will include 32 non-market rental units.
The non-market housing component of the development will be operated by the YWCA, with a focus on serving women with children. It will be consist of solely two and three-bedroom units.
294 underground parking stalls will be provided for the development, as well as extensive bicycle storage.
The site is currently occupied by a low-rise strata condominium building, sold in 2019 by Colliers. It is located within the Metrotown Downtown Community Plan, which has spurred an unprecedented wave of high-rise development in the area.
