A rezoning application has been filed for a six-storey, market rental building at the corner of North Templeton Drive and Oxford Street, in the east Vancouver neighbourhood of Cedar Cove.
The new building, designed by Stuart Howard Architects Inc., will contain 36 market rental units, including studio, one, two and three bedroom units, as well as eight townhouses.
A total of 16 underground parking stalls and 68 bicycle parking stalls are proposed.
The site is within the Grandview-Woodland Community Plan. The plan’s ‘Pace of Change’ policy limits demolition of existing market rental housing to no more than five new developments in the first 3 years in order to maintain existing rental housing while providing more density.
