A large art installation by Coast Salish and Musqueam Nation artist Thomas Cannell has been unveiled at a prominent intersection in Richmond.
The six-storey installation, entitled ‘Sea to Sky’, was commissioned by Keltic Development Canada at its ‘The Paramount’ development, across from Richmond Centre.
The design features traditional iconography of the Pacific Northwest. The unveiling comes as Keltic completes the first two towers of ‘The Paramount’ development, consisting of residential units, office space and a 19,000 square feet Early Childhood Development Hub. The third tower, consisting of residential condominiums, will be completed in early Spring.
