Location at The Post will be gym’s fifth location
Evolve Strength will open a 35,000 square foot gym at The Post in downtown Vancouver in Fall 2023.
The fitness centre will join Amazon, Loblaw CityMarket, Buro The Espresso Bar, Deville Coffee and The Joseph Richard Group, the latter which will operate the culinary and food hall experience. There is a total of 185,000 square feet of retail space at The Post.
“We are really trying to curate something that will be especially compelling to the office worker contingent here, which is why we are thrilled to welcome Evolve Strength to this very special project,” says Larissa Jacobson, vice-president, retail leasing, QuadReal Property Group.

“Evolve Strength’s high-end amenities coupled with its unrivalled atmosphere will together provide members with an unforgettable health and fitness experience. This is a natural next step for us since the Vancouver market has long expressed interest for the Evolve Strength experience on the west coast. We anticipate reaching capacity before grand opening; our team looks forward to introducing our unique model to Vancouver’s downtown community and also serving the Amazon team onsite,” says Jon Cheung, co-founder and president of Evolve Strength.
Services will include massage therapy, physiotherapy, massage and chiropractic therapy, nutrition, psychology, mental health care, pharmacy, athletic therapy and personal training. The facility will be outfitted with top-of-the-line strength training equipment.
Located at 349 West Georgia Street in Vancouver’s Crosstown neighbourhood, The Post redevelopment is one of the most ambitious heritage redevelopment projects in Canada’s history, and consists of over 1.1 million square feet of office space and 185,000 square feet of retail.
