A luxury furniture retailer is preparing to open in an unusual location across from Victory Square.
Signage for Fendi Casa and Bentley Home is posted in the windows of a character building at West Pender and Hamilton Streets, across from the former home of Pappas Furs, which was recently renovated.
Fendi Casa is the furniture and home décor arm of Fendi, the Italian luxury fashion house owned by French multinational LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. Sofas start in the tens of thousands of dollars. The Bentley Home Collection is inspired by the luxury vehicles of the same nameplate, and their interiors.
The new store appears to be a franchise location, rather than a corporate store.
Vancouver is North America’s strongest market for luxury vehicle sales, and an upcoming condominium project for the storage of luxury vehicles in Richmond is nearly sold out.
