Vancouver-based Serracan Properties is preparing to launch presales for their upcoming Fraser Commons project at Fraser Street and SE Marine Drive.
The four-building, 363-unit project will replace a 1960s-era hotel complex formerly known as the Blue Boy Motor Hotel. Building heights will range from six to 22-storeys.
Unit sizes will run from 434 sq. ft to 1,059 sq. ft, with prices starting at $439,900 according to marketing materials, making the units some of the lowest-priced new construction in Vancouver-proper.
The development will also feature retail space, rooftop gardens, a daycare and park space. Architects are Francl Architecture with interiors by Cristina Oberti Interior Design.

you know the city has gone even more bonkers when the author of the article includes “making the units some of the lowest-priced new construction in Vancouver-proper” as a positive feature. if $1,000 psf for a 434 sf unit at marine and fraser is something to hip-hop hooray about then I can’t wait for the next development to be released..
