Wunderbar! German documentary crew captures Vancouver in HD

A German-language documentary by Arte TV is a visually-stunning, high-definition love letter to Vancouver, The City by The Sea.

The 43-minute episode is available for viewing online until Dec. 13, 2017.

The broadcaster says “Vancouver has set itself the challenge of becoming the greenest city in the world by 2020. Discover a vibrant and open city.”

The documentary — which thankfully comes with English subtitles — takes viewers around the city, including a ride on the Seabus, a visit to Chinatown, the Convention Centre green roof, as observing parkour and furniture making, and more.

It’s well worth a watch, if not just to bring back memories of our spectacular summers.
