Holborn set to begin redevelopment of Little Mountain site

Holborn Group has revealed the first phase of their Little Mountain redevelopment project, with the design for an eight-storey non-market rental building.

The building, at 155 East 37th Avenue, will have 63 social housing units over ground floor commercial space. There will be two levels of underground parking accessed from the lane.

Architects Stantec say the building is designed to be “one of the gateways for the entire site” and is “well-integrated with the Little Mountain master plan and complements with the surrounding urban scale and fabric of the proposed neighbouring buildings.”

This is the first phase of the redevelopment of the 15-acre Little Mountain site, which will eventually be home to 1,400 new market residential units, commercial space and a neighbourhood house. A public park, plaza and daycare is also planned.
