Lark Group’s three-phase City Centre project in Surrey’s emerging Health and Technology District continues to transform the area adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Stambol Studios has released new renderings of the third building of the project, City Centre 3. It will be a 10-storey, 115,000 sq ft. building constructed to LEED Gold standards.
City Centre 1 was completed in 2014 and contains 180,000 sq ft. of office space over 12 storeys. City Centre 2, also 12 storeys, was completed last year. The entire complex has approximately 1,000 parking stalls (underground and surface), and is less than a 10-minute walk from the King George SkyTrain station.
The Lark Group says the project creates “a unique ecosystem for clinicians and health-care providers to work alongside innovators, entrepreneurs and tech companies.”
The City of Surrey is working hard to create a technology and innovation district in the area, and recently launched their “Invest Surrey” campaign, touting Surrey as “North America’s next metropolitan centre.”
