When complete, the River District in south Vancouver will be home to approximately 15,000 people — more than the number of residents in Yaletown.
The community, between SE Marine Drive and the Fraser River, is growing fast with several new residential buildings under construction, as well as 250,000 sq ft. of retail space.
The developer of the River District, Wesgroup, has launched sales of their latest community, called MODE.
The upcoming tower will include 255 homes, including one, two and three bedroom units, as well as townhomes.
Amenities include an indoor/outdoor kitchen and a long table for 16 with an outdoor terrace, surround sound cinema room and wet bar, fitness centre and large outdoor hot tub, ‘WorkHub’ space with private boardrooms, video conferencing and meeting tables, workshop, carwash, bike storage, bike repair space and charge station for electric vehicles.
Architects are Ciccozzi Architecture and Perkins + Will, and completion is slated for May 2022.
