New rental apartments coming to the Fraserhood

Strand Development is planning a six-storey rental building in the Fraserhood, at the corner of Fraser Street and East 23rd Avenue.

The new rental building will contain 121 market rental units, and replace five single family homes. Unit sizes range from studios to four bedroom townhouses.

Approximately 10,000 sq ft. of retail is planned for the ground floor, made up of three units, with the corner unit earmarked for a restaurant.

There will be two levels of underground parking with 108 stalls, as well as 159 bicycle parking spaces.

The architect is Integra Architecture Inc.

An open house will be held September 6, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Polish Community Centre at 4015 Fraser Street.
