Boutique townhouses proposed at Oak and West 52nd

Four buildings of townhouses designed by Yamamoto Architecture are proposed for the corner of Oak Street and West 52nd Avenue.

The site is currently occupied by three single family homes. Once developed, there will be 23 units in four buildings over one level of underground parking. The townhouses are all 1,300 sq. ft and up.

The buildings will have a contemporary design, with white brick, dark hardie siding and  vertical standing seam siding.

A large, western elm tree on the south end of the site will be preserved.

The site is part of the Cambie Corridor Plan area, which encourages densification through the redevelopment of single-family lots into townhouses.
