Developers team up to complete Polaris tower in Burnaby

Three developers have partnered to complete the Polaris tower in Metrotown in Burnaby.

Grosvenor Americas and Citimark Group have teamed up with Transca Development on the 36-storey tower, which is already under construction.

The tower contains 313 homes and is already 80 per cent pre-sold, and was designed by IBI Group.

Fred Zhu, CEO of Transca, says the new partnership will build on the original vision of the project.

“We’ve combined the original vision for the project with the experience of two seasoned developers to create a one-of-a-kind, globally recognized project in the heart of Burnaby and we couldn’t be more excited.”

Citimark and Grosvenor are no strangers to the Metrotown area, having developed several residential high-rises overlooking Burnaby’s Central Park in the 1970s.

Polaris will include a water feature and public art installation at the lobby entrance. Building amenities will include a golf simulator, guest suite, bike repair and wash station, social lounge and outdoor gardens featuring BBQs and a fire pit.
