Rize Alliance plans 13-storey office building next to train station

An angled glass office building is proposed for the corner of Station Street and Terminal Avenue, next to the Pacific Central train station.

Rize Alliance plans to develop a 13-storey office building, with retail units on the ground floor. There will be 442 underground parking spaces, accessed via Station Street.

Landscaping around the ground floor retail units and lobby will include a plaza area with bench seating, bicycle parking and ground lighting integrated with the paving stones.

The ground floor will have a fitness centre for office tenants, as well as a small patio area facing the train station.

Rize Alliance has developed several sites along Terminal Avenue in recent years, including the Containers 1 and 2 office buildings, now home to Columbia College and the Canada Revenue Agency. The developer is putting the finishing touches a residential tower nearby — The Independent — at Broadway and Kingsway.
