Robsonstrasse Hotel demolished to make way for boutique retail and office building

The Robsonstrasse Hotel is no more—hastily demolished earlier this year after the hotel abruptly shut down. Now, we’re getting a look at what will replace the small hotel at the corner of Robson and Broughton.

MCMP Architects have designed a terraced five-storey retail and office building for client Asia Standard Americas, who are also behind the redevelopment of the Empire Landmark hotel next door.

The total floor area of the new building will be 24,745 square feet. There will be one level of underground parking, accessible from the lane.
