Six-storey rental apartment building proposed for East Hastings Street

A new rental apartment building on a narrow lot is proposed for East Hastings Street between Skeena and Kootenay.

The proposal for a six-storey building with retail on the ground floor, and 34 secured market rental units above. There will be one level of underground parking.

Unit sizes will range from studios to three-bedrooms. Residents will have access to a shared rooftop amenity terrace.

The street frontage is designed with a four-storey, dark grey brick-clad street wall. The fifth and sixth floors are recessed and clad in light-coloured metal cladding.

A community open house will be held on Tuesday February 13, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hastings Community Centre, located at 3096 East Hastings Street.
