South Flatz: Vancouver office building makes pitch to millennials

Hey Millennialz!

You guys like craft beer, fixies and zany colours right? And you like to work in open plan, modern offices too! Well, we’ve got just the “creative” office leasing opportunity for you!

If you’ve been down Great Northern Way recently, you may have noticed signage for an upcoming office building called South Flatz in front of the new Emily Carr campus.

Yes, that’s “Flatz” with a ‘z’ because it’s cool. The tagline is “Community that inspirez.” Also with a z. So hip.

The cringeworthy branding features stock images of regular, mostly white people doing totally, everyday normal things, like the guy with an exploding pineapple head or the hip, bearded gentleman reading a newspaper with a grizzly bear.

Once the office development is complete, tenants will be able to hang out on the rooftop patioz and the flatz platz.

South Flatz – real estate branding so hip, it hurts.
