Operators of Food Hall at The Post announced

Surrey-based Joseph Richard Group has been announced as the operator of the upcoming Food Hall at QuadReal’s The Post development in downtown Vancouver.

The Joseph Richard Group, operators of concepts like Townhall Public House and S+L Kitchen and Bar, among others, will lead the culinary experience in the new, 26,000 square feet Food Hall.

Scheduled to open in 2023 as part of the massive redevelopment of the old post office, the Food Hall will consist of full service, sit-down restaurants, as well as quick service offerings.

The CEO of The Joseph Richard Group says he’s confident in the future of restaurants in downtown Vancouver, particularly at The Post.

“I think our commitment to this project, especially at this time, should speak to our confidence that this sector will rebound as will Vancouver’s downtown core,” says Ryan Moreno, CEO and co-founder of The Joseph Richard Group. “As with any of our venues, guests can expect unique experiences which include top-quality offerings, notable talent and uncompromising commitment to every guest.”

Two coffee shops will also be part of the food service offering at The Post – Buro The Espresso Bar, and Deville Coffee. The 50,000 square feet Loblaws City Market grocer will also include ready-made meal offerings.

The Post will be home to approximately 3,000 Amazon employees once it completes in the fall of 2023. urbanYVR toured the construction site in October 2020, which is set to transform the eastern edge of downtown and the Crosstown neighbourhood.
