New Vancouver Public Library rooftop patio and garden now open

The new 40,000 sq ft. rooftop patio and garden at the Vancouver Public Library in downtown Vancouver is now open.

The massive new rooftop patio and garden features spectacular views of downtown Vancouver, seating areas for reading and relaxation, and extensive landscaping.

The project also includes a new reading room, two-storey atrium, and 80-seat theatre. The space was previously leased to the provincial government and off-limits to the public. The renovation and rooftop garden project cost just under $16 million.
