A local real estate agent is taking to YouTube with a cheeky web-based reality show to find Vancouver’s Next Top Agent and generate some buzz in the city’s slumping real estate market.
Outgoing real estate agent Mark Wiens of Dracco Pacific Realty is behind the search for Vancouver’s Next Top Agent.
Episode 1, The Search Commences, launches Wednesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. Five episodes are planned through June with the finale scheduled for June 20.
A casting call went out to 14,000 agents across Metro Vancouver and was viewed more than 45,000 times. Nine agents were selected from across the Lower Mainland, including a former tree planter turned real estate agent.
The winner of Vancouver’s Next Top Agent will land a spot on Mark Wiens’ sales team at Dracco Pacific Realty.
