Belford Properties is preparing to launch their first of four developments under its Wellside Collection banner.
The developer is building 93 stacked townhouses at Ash Street and West 52nd Avenue in the Cambie Corridor, ranging from one-bedroom, two-bedroom (and two-bedroom + den), as well as three-bedroom and three-bedroom and den.
The distinctive-looking development was designed by SHAPE Architecture, with interiors by House of Bohn.
It will be the first cold-form steel frame project in Vancouver, a 100 per cent recyclable, high-strength steel that offers improved fire safety and durability, among other benefits.
Homes feature several wellness-focused innovations including dual water purification systems, HRV and ERV ventilation systems, and outdoor spaces for all units, including some with rooftop patios.
The centrepiece of the development is a landscaped courtyard with water feature and interconnected pathways. The water feature is fed by a stormwater management system that captures rainwater and diverts it to the water feature, before returning it to the city’s storm line.
