MST Development Corporation has been on a roll lately, with development proposals across the Lower Mainland.
In West Vancouver, the MST, consisting of the Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation, are proposing a townhouse development at 4165-4195 Marine Drive, designed by Francl Architecture.
4165-4195 Marine Drive will be the first project MST will develop without a development partner. The five-acre site at Marine Drive and Burkehill Road was previously owned by the federal government and used as a staging area.
The concept is for a three-storey, three-building, terraced, crescent-shaped development. The buildings will feature green roofs and surround an open lawn and landscaped meadow. There will be a variety of housing types and tenures, including market housing and affordable housing for essential workers and first responders.

“Redevelopment of this site will provide an opportunity for MST to express their deep connection to the land while bringing forward new opportunities for prosperity for future generations,” states the MST Development Corporation in public engagement materials.
The MST Development Corporation recently announced a 5,000 unit high-density development at Willingdon Avenue and Canada Way in Burnaby, which will also include a 450,000 square feet film production facility.
